Journey so far

Ar. Milind Surve is the co-founder and director of Alternate Angle. He believes that the projects are a collaborative effort between client and architect for optimizing the opportunities of development. His approach of working as a team with client to get the project completed on-time, in allocated budget and in a systematic manner is adopted as a mandate for all the projects. His vision and attention to provide customized solution for each project has helped Alternate Angle to venture and successfully complete variety of projects including infrastructure, residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, religious and industrial buildings.

Milind's work experience from USA, to major cities of India to rural areas has helps him work professionally irrespective of the geography. His knowledge in building codes, approval processes, cost estimation, tendering process and construction practices helps in providing end-to-end service from conception to completion of projects. His quality as an educator and coordinator has not only translated into open and educative work culture at office but also facilitates in collaborative approach with various agencies, consultants and vendors to streamline projects and achieve project goals.

Milind's passion and experience in teaching has led to the idea of formation of Alternate Angle Academy - a knowledge sharing platform for architectural professionals. He continues to share his learnings and experience with the fellow professionals through talks, teaching, online courses and mentoring.

He believes in working for the growth of profession and encourages his peers to contribute to the cause. Based on this idea, he has co-founded WOArchitect Platform which helps Architects find career paths, jobs, learning opportunities and business network.
